can you put a air stone in a reef tank l have a nano boyu tl550 128 lit

I noticed nobody replied to this and i am new to the saltwater scene and as far as I know an air stone is a bigg no no in a saltwater tank.

l dont think you can just that one of the shops l go to said you can only on low whats wrong with every one on here dont like answering questions very helpful site not

I believe the problem with airstones is using them in a reef because if the bubbles get into or on the corals it could damage them. In a fish only tank though out is okay.
