    i've never read anyhing about them jumping..hmm.....mine sticks to the bottom of the tank most of the time and doesn't move to far away from it's little cave where him and his pistol shrimp live in. if you do decide to get one, get one with a pistol shrimp and i would suggest acclimating him...

    oh yeah a fuge is basically an area for liverock, live sand, and macroalgae (like chaeto, halimeda, prolifera etc) it's a refugium, a seperate area from the tank that serves as a environment for additional nutrient control and sanctuary for inverts and fish that can't be in the main display...

    i recommend the yasha hase goby and randalli pistol shrimp for the nano. the yasha is easy to feed and it's fun to watch him interact with his shrimp. you need a good layer of sand for them to dig into and some rocks for them to hide in
